School Programs

SALSArobics has been presented to students at universities and community colleges, high schools, junior high and elementary schools, and community youth programs.  Programs are also offered for teachers on institute days.  Programs for school assemblies can be tailored to themes of fitness, cultural awareness, language awareness, geography and/or history, with the music being adapted to the theme.  Live percussion accompaniment is also available.  For younger children, the use of hand-held percussion instruments adds an additional level of participation.  All programs are highly participatory, with children's programs normally being presented at a higher level of intensity than for teachers.  Programs for teachers range from a joyful stress-free group exercise class, to personal ergonomics in the classroom, to ways to de-stress teachers and students using creative and fun mini workouts throughout the day.
